At a pleasant elevation of around 1500 ft, we are shaded by a variety of Oak trees mingled in with Pines. Wildlife in our area is abundant, as is our variety of ranch animals from horses, llamas, cattle, poultry, and the list goes on.
South Wolf Creek flows nearly year-round through many of our parcels, as well as a variety of seasonal creeks, with the option of treated water being offered by Nevada Irrigation District to an increasing number of properties.
Good schools, local shops and a well-maintained Fire Station are located just minutes away.

Yearly CC&R fees go toward maintaining our privately paved roads and other community needs.
The Board consists of five elected members, including a President. Each Spring, the Board hosts an annual general meeting of the member-ship to hold elections, discuss community-related business, educate members on local issues and to simply enjoy some social time with neighbors. The Board also coordinates special events, like our annual community clean-up and pot luck.
The Association also maintain good standing with the Fire Safe Council of Nevada County.

NEXT SCHEDULED MEETING: TBD
To All Golden Oaks Association Members:
The Board has been working on a number of changes. Among them is converting to Virtual meetings so our members, if they choose, can listen in on our meetings remotely.
This is for regular board meetings only and will not be so with the annual meeting, which will be held in person, at its usual location, the Higgins Lions Community Center at Magnolia and Hacienda.
Please bear with us during this learning process. Like everyone else we are working around summer vacations, setting up the association's new Google Workspace, and working the bugs out of the Virtual Meeting process.
We will keep you all updated as best we can.

The August meeting may be canceled, unless something urgent comes up.
Thank you for your patience.
