The annual meeting will take place at the Higgins Lions' Clubhouse, 22490 East Hacienda Drive. There will be a meet and greet to get to know your neighbors at 9:00 AM, The HOA meeting will start at 10:00 AM. The meeting will run until all agenda items have been addressed. As the date approaches, the agenda will be posted here. Some of the items that will be covered are Board of Director Elections, Introduction of the new Higgins Fire Chief, Firewise Updated information, Road Maintenance, and of course - meeting your neighbors!
As you may or may not know, our long-time District Supervisor Ed Scofield will be retiring at the end of this year and there are three candidates running to be his replacement; John Herrera, Jeff Pettit and Rob Tucker.
Last week, the League of Women Voters held a debate during which the three candidates we able to answer questions from the local press and we, the residents of Supervisor District 2.

All Residents of Golden Oaks reside in one of two Fire Evacuation Zones: NCO-160 North of Wolf Creek or NCO-162 South of Wolf Creek. These codes will be used in the event an evacuation order is issued by CalFire.
